Victoria will be overhauling the Myki card, which has prompted calls to overhaul Western Australia’s smartrider system.

Public Transport Authority director of corporate communications David Hynes told 6PR Mornings there is no need to redo WA’s smartrider system.

“Smartrider is an exceptionally good, exceptionally efficient service,” said Mr Hynes.
