A new youth steering committee has been announced by the government to create job opportunities for young people wanting to work in the government.

The new committee will focus on developing youth engagement in Australian politics.

Federal Minister for Youth Dr Anne Aly told 6PR Perth Live diversity is essential to a good government.

“You get a government agenda that really doesn’t speak to the everyday living circumstance of the diverse people in Australia,” said Dr Aly
