Consumer Protection warns customers about WA’s dodgiest hotelier

Eddie Kamil, Perth City Apartment Hotel trader has been hailed as one of the ‘dodgiest hoteliers in WA’ by Consumer Protection.
Trish Blake, Commissioner for Consumer Protection, sent out a strong warning to listeners on 6PR Mornings, saying they have received 17 complaints from customers who were refused their security bond by Mr Kamil.
“The consumers who have raised their complaints with us have said they have done nothing, the property was not damaged, there was not smoking in any of the rooms or anything like that,” Ms Blake told Gary Adshead.
“What we are saying to Mr Kamil and other traders, a security bond is not a top up of your income.”
