A 32-year-old man has been charged with a significant drug deal in Perth’s north.

Police have made a 1.2 kilogram meth seizure by tracking someone riding an electric scooter via a drone.

Commissioner Col Blanch told Gary Adshead officers were tipped off by locals after they noticed the suspicious man earlier this month.

“With the community working with us and using our technology, we are going to arrest and identify these drug dealers and I think that’s a great result,” Mr Blanch said.
