The US President has made a surprise trip to Ukraine, days before the one-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

He is committing an extra $500 million USD in military aid and has reaffirmed the West’s solidarity with the war torn nation.

US reporter Charles Feldman told 6PR Breakfast the unannounced trip was shrouded in secrecy.

“The White House tipped Moscow off several hours before that President Biden was going to go to Ukraine,” Charles Feldman said.
