The City of Vincent is trialling a new 40km/hr speed limit in southern Vincent to make suburban roads safer.

The council is wanting to implement a 40km/hr speed limit on all residential roads in the City of Vincent.

City of Vincent Mayor Emma Cole told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons lower speed limits stop people from speeding.

“50 feels too fast on our residential streets,” said Ms Cole.
