AFL fans want the grand final to remain an afternoon affair
The annual AFL Fans Association (AFLFA) survey has revealed to The Age that 73 per cent of AFL fans want the grand final remain in traditional afternoon time slot, with one in five voting for a twilight event.
The statistics further revealed half of fans support the introduction of a Tasmanian team.
President of the AFL Fans Association Ron Issko told Millsy and Karl the statistics are consistent with previous survey’s.
“If fans are saying we want a day grand final – moving to a twilight or night being inevitable doesn’t stack up,” Mr Issko said.
