Perth Hills residents are concerned Satterley’s long-awaited ‘amended North Stoneville plan’ will put the community’s bushfire evacuation plan at risk,

The plan which would urbanise 535 hectares of Perth’s Hills and add an additional 8,000 cars to local traffic will put pressure on the fire escape plans and risk the lives of locals in the extreme bushfire-prone area.

Save Perth Hills, deputy chair Deborah Bishop told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the plan puts residents at risk.

“It remains dangerous and destructive to Perth hills,” said Ms Bishop.
