‘Alarming’: 37 per cent of children under 12 have their own phone
Finder has announced new data which shows two-in-five Australian children under 12 have a mobile phone and five per cent of children under five have their own smartphone.
The study doesn’t account for special circumstances where children need a phone for safety or personal reasons.
Oliver Peterson was shocked to find so many children under five have their own smartphones.
“It really is quite alarming,” said Oly.
