The housing Industry Association say the construction sector is training more women than ever, something Lady Tradies Australia is proud of.

The organisation was founded in 2010 by Wendy Pinch who wanted to support women working in non-traditional roles, such as construction.

Ms Pinch told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons “lady tradies” are becoming increasingly more popular.

‘Some people just feel more comfortable with a woman,” said Ms Pinch.
