Researchers have discovered smelling other people’s body odour could potentially aid with anxiety.

Senior lecturer at Stockholm’s Karolinska Institute Vladimir Carli told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast they found that exposing anxiety patients to the smell of others increased the effects of treatment.

“We know that body odours deliver some information… we’re trying to figure out what information they carry, that’s why we collect the sweat from subjects in different emotional states,” he said.
