Shane Van Styn has opened up about the current state of affairs in Geraldton, speaking on the struggling housing supply and ongoing development of the central Mid West city.

Mr Van Styn talked to Millsy on 6PR Breakfast during the Geraldton leg of his Exmouth sojourn and described the city’s struggle to house workers, as well as the level of crime.

“The crime that we see here is still in that realm of pettiness; it’s rock throwing, it’s bikes being stolen; we’re thankful that we have a strong police presence,” Mr Van Styn said.
