The State Government has announced it will donate millions to the WACA redevelopment which will include a new primary school.

However, the school will be built on the car park opposite Queens Gardens which will lead to the destruction of 900 car bays.

Education minister Tony Buti the school is needed in East Perth.

“It will act as a catalyst for inner-city revival,” said Mr Buti.
