Despite the Eagle’s broad loss to Port Adelaide on Saturday, Nine News’ Mark Readings told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast it isn’t all doom and gloom for the team.

“No-one likes losing, but I think it’s fair to say there was some encouraging signs at Adelaide Oval,” he said.

“In general, I think they are showing far more than last year.”

Eagles great Will Schofield also talked about his fill-in role for the WAFL team over the weekend.
