Kelly Williams explains how her father was recovering from routine ankle surgery when he suffered a severe stroke. However, it took staff seven hours to get Alfred Williams the medical care he needed, with fatal consequences. The family wanted answers, but Kelly says multiple medical organisations are now passing the buck.

“It’s just been a nightmare since, we’ve been trying to fight this, we’ve been trying to get answers and make change because there are systemic issues and systemic failures, we believe, and we don’t want this to happen to anyone else,” she said.
