ACCC slams already-stricken Qantas with court action
Pressure continues to mount on Qantas, with the national airline now adding a federal court case to a class-action and the most amount of complaints ever compiled by an Australian company.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission have taken the carrier to court for allegedly sold tickets on 8000 flights they already knew they had cancelled.

Senior Australian Financial Review Chanticleer columnist James Thomson told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons it will likely be difficult to defend, given the actions that lead to the case.
“In some cases they cancelled a flight 40 days before they stopped selling tickets on that flight,” Mr Thomson said.
