Australian cricket legend Adam Gilchrist and his son Harry are the faces of new WA tourism advertisements promoting day trips from Perth to Indian visitors.

Set to launch in Mumbai and Delhi from August 19, Gilchrist told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead the campaign featured himself and Harry exploring a range of attractions in and around the outskirts of Perth.

“The most beautiful thing about this whole campaign is that they invited Harry, our eldest boy, to come along with me on these drive days and experience it together – it was a sense of homecoming for him,” Gilchrist said.
