AFL players victims of ‘disorganised’ concussion protocol: Brayshaw
The brother of one of the most recent AFL players to declare their retirement due to injury has shared an open letter to the AFL in which he urges the body to be more clear and open with players.
Premiership Demon Angus Brayshaw announced his retirement in February in an emotional acceptance of the effect concussions have had, and his brother Hamish told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings players are falling prey to a lack of information and support.

“It can’t be fair judicial system if it’s just what they think on the week,” Mr Brayshaw said.
“As a player you’re really unsure, and you have to second-guess yourself all of the time.”
