A mathematician has used a complex algorithm to discover the best swear word in the world.

Using the Markov Chain – a 100-year-old mathematics model that predicts sequences, UK maths communicator Sophie McLean mashed all the existing swear words together to come up with something… interesting.

“I think swearing’s really an art form; you want to combine them in certain ways,” Professor McLean said.

“The algorithm decided what the next letter would be, and it’s come up with some pretty great words.”
