Shadow Police Minister Peter Collier says over the last financial year robberies have risen by 32 per cent, stealing has jumped by 20 per cent and family violence is up 18 per cent across the state. Police resignations 473 officers left the force last year – and 202 have quit in the first half of this year.

Wannanup resident Brad Bedford is spearheading a petition calling for the State Government to build a 24hr police station in Dawesville since crime spiked in the area and spoke with Oly Peterson on Perth Live.
