Andy Murray has recorded the greatest comebacks of his tennis career at the Australian Open overnight.

It took the Brit until 4.05am to defeat Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis.

6PR and Nine News Tennis Correspondent, Craig Gabriel, told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast he originally arrived to the stadium at 8am on Thursday and did not return to his hotel until 6am on Friday.

“The fact that so many people stayed until the bitter end, to the last match point and the atmosphere was pretty amazing,” Craig said.
