Another festival has fallen over thanks to risks associated with COVID-19.

The Hyde Park Festival scheduled for March has been cancelled, the latest event forced to sit on the sidelines in 2022.

The cancellation came as WA Premier Mark McGowan announced a $77 million package for industries impacted by the delay of the February 5 border opening and other COVID-19 restrictions.

Rotary Club of North Perth president Ian Wooten told Millsy at Midday host Steve Mills the decision was regrettable.
