Workplace culture expert Tammy Tansley says Australia’s leave entitlements are decades too old.

The last time leave entitlements were updated was in the 1970s when annual leave was changed from three to four weeks.

Ms Tansley told Michael Thomson on 6PR Mornings our leave is in desperate need of change.

“If you ask anyone if they want more leave, they would all say ‘of course’,” Ms Tansley said.

“But my argument is: many workers don’t get the chance to the leave they have at the moment.”
