Details are emerging from the Victorian budget today showing the state’s level of debt has gone further into the red. 

Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Economist Aaron Morey told Oliver Peterson on 6PR Perth Live he expects the Victorians to put the squeeze on Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers to access a greater share of WA’s GST.

“They’re blaming the RBA, they blaming the previous federal government and now they’re seeking to lash out on the GST deal,” Mr Morey said  

“The past few weeks they have been blaming everybody but themselves for their fiscal woes”.
