Police have released images and footage they’re hoping can aid in the apprehension of an armed burglar who terrorized a mother ion her 40’s and her four-year-old child.

The incident occurred at about 5.10am, when the woman awoke to the man smashing through her rear sliding door while shouting.

6PR reporter Jake Battrick told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons police are hoping to find a quick resolution to their search.

“Understandably the victim is completely traumatised; they’ve had to leave the property for the time being,” Mr Battrick said.
