At the start of April, Perth Today host Simon Beaumont asked 6PR listeners a  ‘Yes or No’ question:

“Do you think the best player in the Len Hall Match should be named the Arthur Leggett Medallist?”

There was a resounding ‘yes’, and the Fremantle Dockers listened, officially minting the Arthur Leggett best on ground medal to be presented at the Len Hall Tribute Game on ANZAC Day.

Simon spoke to Arthur Leggett’s daughter, Sue Meagher, about the honour.

“I honestly believe that going to the game every year is what kept him going,” she said.
