The coronial inquest into Aishwarya Aswath’s death at Perth Children’s Hospital has resumed.

6PR and Nine News reporter Anne Naylor explained that the court heard from a senior doctor overseeing the emergency department the night the 7-year-old died.

Naylor told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings that CCTV shows Aishwarya being moved between various parts of the hospital.

“After having seen her in that waiting room and moving her to a bed, Dr (William) Hollaway was called to another patient,” she said.

“He was then called back to the resus bay, and it was Aishwarya he was called to help with,

“Dr Hollway agreed staff really did feel demoralised and isolated: ‘It definitely felt like you were under the pump and there was no end in sight.”
