Aussie firefighters set to oppose Federal opposition’s plans to build nuclear reactors

The United Firefighters Union of Australia will oppose the Federal opposition’s plans to build seven nuclear reactors across the country.
United Firefighters Union of Australia national secretary Greg McConville spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said for each nuclear power station that has been proposed, you would need 68 firefighters with half inside and half outside, which would amount to almost $80 million a year.
