Australia’s women’s water polo team, the Stingers, defeated reigning champions team USA in a thrilling shoot-out to progress to the gold medal match.

Ross Andrews, father of star Stinger Abby Andrews, spoke to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Oly on the team’s success.

“We hug and tell them how proud we are of them, how much we love them and whatever lungs we have left we try to keep breathing,” he said.
