Jimmy Barnes has shared some worrying health news with his fans, stating a bacterial infection has spread to his heart.

The health scare relates to a heart valve he had replaced “some years ago”, which had remained healthy until this point.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford shared his concern with Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast with the hope he’ll make a full recovery.

“For all we know he could be going into surgery right now, so our thoughts and prayers are with him,” Mr Ford said.
