Barry Humphries earns ‘very rare’ posthumous award
Barry Humphries has been recognised with one of the highest commendations available to members of the Commonwealth following his passing in April.
The Australian comedian earned a posthumous Companion of the Order of Australia, an award given to less than 35 people every year.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl Humphries’ relationship with King Charles may have played a part.
“Way back when King Charles was a tenneager their friendship began,” Mr Ford said.
