Barry Humphries’ family have released a statement on the much-loved performer’s sadly declining health condition, confirming the seriousness of the situation.

Mr Humphries’ two sons travelled from London to be at their father’s bedside, as well as reconciling with his daughter Emily, who he had not seen in over 20 years.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast it’s now a waiting game.

The news is coupled by the tragic passing of Father Bob, Victorian Catholic priest and cherished champion of the community.
