BBC personality in latest UK sex scandal named
The major personality behind the dramatic BBC sex scandal has been named as well-known news anchor Huw Edwards.
The story has dominated media throughout the UK and around the world, and now specific questions about what went on are being aired.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast Edwards was known worldwide for breaking the news of the Queen’s death last year.
“Now of course this much bigger scandal has unfolded; now there’s publications under fire for reporting on it,” Mr Ford said.

Edwards’ wife Vicky Flind released a statement saying Edwards was now receiving treatment for “very serious” mental health problems.
UK reporter Enda Brady told Millsy and Karl Edwards is a “household name” in Old Blighty.
“Anyone who watches the BBC will know who he is,” Mr Brady said.
Enda Brady said the BBC have now rolled back their claim Edwards had quit his job.
