The Netflix documentary Beckham bas become a barnburner, with most office watercoolers playing host to debate over the series.

But the real-world effects of its success are now being felt, with the discussion of David Beckham’s historic affair reopening old wounds.

Entertainment guru Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the Beckhams should’ve known discussing the matter would present its own blowback.

“Obviously that was very much poking the bear,” Mr Ford said.
