Benefits of a humble walk are underrated, according to the Heart Foundation.
55 per cent of adults and 70 per cent of children aren’t meeting physical activity guidelines.
Elizabeth Calleja, Senior Advisor for Physical Activity at the Heart Foundation, explains to 6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy how a 30-minute walk a day has huge benefits for overall health and wellbeing.
“We’ve got to think about how we can move more and build that into our day, especially for kids,” she said.
