East Victoria Park resident Nihal Ischel is blind and will have to sell her home and move as she’s unable to safely reach replacement bus services in her area which will be in use during the 18-month Armadale line shutdown.

Ms Ischel told Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live she bought her house near Carlisle station for its ease of access.

After 6PR aired Nihal’s concerns in October someone from Transport Minister Rita Saffioti’s office visited her residence to work towards a solution, but no realistic support was offered.
