BREAKING | Alistair Clarkson drops shock announcement
After less than a year as coach, Alistair Clarkson has stepped down from his role as head coach of North Melbourne Football Club to “focus on his physical and emotional wellbeing.”
Brett Ratten will step up into the senior position.
“Everyone involved has been deeply affected by the Hawthorn investigation, and the burden on Alistair has been significant,” North Melbourne President Doctor Sonja Hood said in a statement.
“We will give Alistair whatever time he needs to restore his health and look forward to welcoming him back when he is fully fit.”
