Two more Perth schools have been struck with positive COVID cases in 24 hours.

Harrisdale Senior High School and Corpus Christi College have confirmed their schools have acquired positive cases.

An alert to parents at Harrisdale was asking anyone who attended the year 12 orientation on Monday to isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms.

In a statement from Harrisdale Senior High School Principal, Angie Thomas, says the school working closely with the WA Health Department to identify close contacts of the positive case.

It is not known how many students and staff have been asked to isolate.

Corpus Christi College has also confirmed a positive case, with staff and students asked to get themselves tested and monitor and if symptoms develop, get tested immediately and isolate until receiving a negative result.

The school is working closely with WA Health to identify close contacts.

Winterfold Primary School in Beaconsfield has been closed due to a positive case on the first day of term.
