WA Police are reminding parents that school bullying incidents can and have been reported to police, even with the school dealing with the matter itself.

Wanneroo Detective Sergeant Mike Nash told Millsy and Karl on 6pr Breakfast school assaults reported to police are on the rise, and being at school does not preclude students form facing the full brunt of the law.

“Young people don’t seem to understand the ramifications of their actions and what it can lead to,” Sergeant Nash said.
