Bunnings and other ‘big box’ retailers the focus of new Senate inquiry
Politicians are calling for the inquiry to examine the treatment of suppliers and customers of major ‘big box’ retailers. Household items sold by firms such as Bunnings are not included in the food and grocery sector’s code of conduct.
Tom McIlroy, AFR Political Correspondent, spoke to 6PR Afternoons host Julie-anne Sprague on the potential fallout.
“They will be nervous about the possible media coverage and potential damage to their brand that could come from the inquiry,” he said.
