Bye Bye Buddy: Lance Franklin calls it quits
After 354 games, 1066 goals, nine All-Australian picks, four Coleman Medals and his fair share of cheers and boos, Lance Franklin has hung up the boots.
The 36-year-old announced the news on social media with a picture of himself arm-in-arm with Sydney coach John Longmire and his former coach at Hawthorn, Alistair Clarkson.
