It has been revealed that an eye-watering $20,000 worth of flowers was purchased for a single government event at the National Gallery of Victoria.

James Stevens, Shadow Assistant Minister for Government Waste Reduction,

explained to 6PR’s Gary Adshead how the government needs to reduce the excessive expenditure of taxpayers’ money.

“We know that every dollar the government spends is a dollar out of the pockets of Australian taxpayers,” he said.
