Motoring groups are calling for reform as the Federal Government plans to increase fuel and alcohol taxes.

They are concerned petrol car owners will be left footing the bill for road infrastructure, while electric vehicle drivers enjoy a free ride.

Australian Automobile Association managing director Michael Bradley told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons all drivers should be contributing to road infrastructure.
