CCC report finds ‘significant misconduct risks to good government’
A CCC report has been released on an investigation into the alleged inappropriate use of taxpayer-funded electoral offices.
The report concludes that there are significant misconduct risks; however, a lack of record-keeping has made it impossible for the integrity commission to prove whether the government has, or hasn’t, exploited a loophole for its own gain.
6PR’s Gary Adshead asked John McKechnie, CCC Commissioner, whether a lack of record-keeping constitutes misconduct in itself.
