Mardella residents are at risk of losing their homes due to plans to move a road through their properties.

David says he and his neighbours, including champion jockey Willie Pike, aren’t happy with the State Government’s plans to realign the South West freight line.

“He is far from impressed; he’s invested a lot of time and effort into that property,” David said of his well-known neighbour.

The residents have started a petition and says there’s other options for the road that won’t uproot family homes.
