What was the last thing you Googled? Fuelwatch? Hamas? How about “drunken chicken recipe”?

Google have released their list of the most Googled words in 2023 as well as the last 25 years, and Gary Adshead has dug deep into the most interesting ones with Pickr founder and editor Leigh Stark.

“A lot of these phrases make a tremendous amount of sense when you think about it,” Mr Stark said.

“When it comes to events that affect pretty much everyone like the Optus outage, it’s pretty safe to say you’re going to see a spike in search terms.”
