The former general counsel serving the City of Perth has taken legal action against her former employer, alleging she was wrongfully terminated.

Michelle Antonio says she was not afforded proper whistleblower protections following her dismissal in February.

Nine News reporter Michael Genovese told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings it’s slightly difficult to get the full story now that it’s before the courts.

“What took place between the 23rd of January and the 6th of February could be left now to a Supreme Court judge to decide,” Mr Genovese said.
