Residents have been tirelessly fighting a proposed 24/7 petrol station in North Perth, claiming they are not anti-business, but that it isn’t the right business for the area.

Dr Hessom Razavi, Stop the Station spokesperson, explained to Perth Live host Russell Collett the health reasons why he is opposing the proposal.

“Virtually no one’s supporting it other than business themselves, so we think it’s a terrible idea, we don’t need it,” he said.
