Man charged with Sarah Spiers murder
Police investigating the Claremont Serial Killer murders have today charged a 49-year-old man with the wilful murder of Sarah Spiers, who disappeared from Claremont in 1996.
Police will allege 18-year-old Ms Spiers was murdered on, or about, January 27, 1996, after a night out with friends in Claremont.
Her body has never been found.
Former Kewdale resident Bradley Robert Edwards was charged following extensive inquiries by the Macro Investigation Team within the Cold Case Homicide Squad.
