Curtin Medical School Institute for Respiratory Health physician Fraser Brims told Julie-Anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons there’s a strong focus on investigating the spread of the disease.

“If anyone feels like they may have been in contact [with the disease], one of the main things to look out for is a prolonged cough that lasts for weeks,” Dr Brims said.
